Pastor Brian is the Middle School Pastor at Lenexa Baptist Church. He has a deep understanding of God's Word and has extensive experience working with youth. Both Pastor Brian and his wife, Cassity have been a tremendous asset to Safe Haven's camps. Both of them are wonderful group leaders amd Pastor Brian leads many of our devotions. They both have a great way of reaching kids. Cassity has taken many of our camp photos - they're pretty amazing!

Interested in Volunteering?

Volunteers are the core of our team. Our experience spans from horse trainers and handlers, teachers, administrators and childcare workers.

You don't have to have horse skills to volunteer at Safe Haven, although we are always looking for people with horse experience. Many of our volunteers help with mentoring children during horse camps, encouraging them to complete the camp.

For many kids, just having someone listen to them is a big deal.  Most people would agree that today’s children and teens face pressures and challenges that are far greater than ever before.
